Weak Intellectual Potential? Yani.
When diplomacy fails its potential! Yani; that is to say.... Ukraine is losing, badly.
Yani. It’s a word Turks use for emphasis. In English, phrases like ‘you know what I mean’ or ‘to be honest’ are frequently unnecessary and misused. Yani is more like, ‘You do it like this, yani!’
'You do it like this, of course!’
Aptal : stupid
Salak : idiot
Siktir git : go forth and multiply

Türkiye has supplied and supported Ukraine’s war effort much to the chagrin of Putin, but Put understands President Erdoğan bargains and makes deals for his own best interests as President of Türkiye. After the latest comments by Zelenksy’s close comrade, I wonder if Erdoğan and Türkiye are going to be so keen to aid and abet in future.
“What is the problem of India, China and so on? The problem of these countries is that they do not analyze the consequences of their own moves. Weak intellectual potential in these countries, unfortunately… just like the Republic of Turkey.”
Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine
